The Frenchman Butte Museum is uniquely situated in a central location to many historical events and is very proud to have a large collection that reflects the history  of: 
Early Settlers, Canadian Railways, The Northwest Rebellion, Hudson's Bay Company/Fur Trade, North Saskatchewan River Highway, Carlton Trail, First Nations and Wolrd War I & II.

Schools routinely book tours for an educational yet fun-filled day at the Heritage Centre.  With a hands on approach, members take great pride in offering a visit that children always remember. Guided tours to the Rifle Pits and Fort Pitt are also recommended.

The Frenchman Butte Museum has played to host to many historical events in the past years and we hope you enjoy a glimpse such as the Water Relay, the Steele Scouts visit,the 125th Anniversary of the Northwest Rebellion of 1885, the Trilingual Plaque unveiling, Fort Pitt Rededication, Steele Scouts Cavalry Ride and the Queen's Jubilee.

Fun for All Ages
Relax at the Log Cabin Tea House, play a round of mini-golf or a game of horseshoes or have some fun playing at the Centennial Community Playground.
